  1. 1 How do I become a member at Alfa-kassan?

    With an electronic ID you can quickly and easily apply for membership in Alfa-kassan by logging in here. If you do not have an electronic ID you can order the form Notification of Unemployment here.

  2. 2 How do I apply for unemployment benefit?

    First of all you must notify the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) that you will apply for benfits at Alfa-kassan. 

    To apply for unemployment benefit, log on to Mina sidor using your electronic ID. On Mina sidor you can send in notification of unemployment, benefit cards, and certificates showing what you have been doing for the last 12 months. 

  3. 3 When do I have to submit my unemployment benefit card?

    Your unemployment benefit cards must be submitted latest on Monday in order for you to recieve the benefit on Thursday the same week. For more information about upcoming dates please read here.

  4. 4 How do I get in contact with my case worker?

    You can easily send a message directly to your case worker via Mina sidor

  5. 5 Why can I not log on to Mina sidor, nor sign my benefit card with electronic ID?

    If you are not able to log on to Mina sidor, nor sign your benefit card with electronic ID we recommend you to try log in via Google Chrome instead. 

  6. 6 Can I update the benefit cards that I have already submitted?

    You can update your benefit cards that you have already sent to us. Please do the following:

    1. Go to the tab Rapportera tid.
    2. Choose the week you want to change.
    3. Click on Ändra.
    4. Add the change.
    5. Sign and submit the benefit card.
