Processing time is the time it takes us to examine and make a decision on your application for benefit, subject to receiving complete documentation from you.
We process all applications in turn from the date we receive them. We are now processing applications from April.
Processing time is the amount of time that elapses between registering as a jobseeker with the Swedish Public Employment Service on your first day of unemployment and the date on which you receive a decision regarding your application for unemployment benefits.
In April the processing time for applications for basic unemployment benefits was 13 weeks, and the processing time for applications for income-related benefits was 11 weeks.
To make sure your processing time is as short as possible:
- Check that your contact details are entered correctly.
- Complete and submit your unemployment benefit card. The benefit card is one of the documents we need in order to make a decision on your case.
- Complete all your tasks on your To Do list via our Mina sidor e-service.
If you have any questions or comments, you can send a message directly to to us via Mina sidor.
