Queueing time

The queueing time is the time it takes from when we receive an application to when we begin to process it

For us to be able to make a decision, we require a completed unemployment benefit card (tidrapport), a work certificate from your employer (arbetsgivarintyg), as well as your notification of unemployment. If any important information is missing, the processing of your application can be delayed. Once a decision has been made, it will take approximately one week before any benefit payments are made.

The approximate queueing times for correctly-submitted applications that have been received by Alfa-kassan are, currently:

 New applications for benefits    4-20 days
 Applications relating to EU cases    4-20 days
 Cases that are to be reviewed    11 days
